Dear Contestant,
You are invited to attend
MOONBEAM’S “Most Adorable Baby & Queens of The South” 2009 National Beauty
Pageant & Baby Contest, to be held at the Beautiful Radisson World Gate Resort
Orlando, 3011 Maingate Lane, Kissimmee, Florida 34747. This is our 25th
year of fun and fair pageantry. They have given us a special pageant room rate
of only $79.00 per night with up to 4 guests per room. You must reserve your
room by Sept. 1st to get the discounted price. The hotel telephone
number is 407-396-1400 or toll free 1-866-705-7676. Call early if you think you
are coming. You can always cancel due to illness etc.
*We always have very
professional, qualified judges within all fields of pageantry.
*We have selected gorgeous crowns
to celebrate our 25th year of pageantry and we will not double crown
the overall
winners.
*We will have a Videographer, and Photographer ( to be announced later ) to
capture award winning moments
on film, so cameras will not be allowed in the ballroom.

*Deadline for the Composite &
Registration Fee of $125.00 is due by August 15th .There will be no

Awards:
MOONBEAM 2009 MODEL OF THE YEAR
There will be a winner in each
age division. They will receive a lovely “Model of the Year” trophy, crown
and banner. The OVERALL Model of the Year will receive a beautiful “OVERALL
Model of the Year” banner, a gorgeous national crown plus a $200.00 Bond.
This will be the contestant with the highest scores of Casualwear, Outfit of
Choice, and Natural Photo combined.
OPTIONAL OUTFIT OF CHOICE CONTEST (Model
of the Year points)
Put on your favorite westernwear,
fifties wear, patriotic wear, or glitzy custom designed outfit. This is
judged mostly on originality and presentation of the outfit.
OPTIONAL NATURAL PHOTO (Model of the Year
points)
You may enter extra Photos for
$10.00. A head shot or possibly full body that shows natural beauty.
0-18mos.***19-35mos.***3-4yrs.***5-6yrs.***7-9yrs.***10-12yrs.***13-15yrs.***
16-up***Boys***0-2yrs.***3-5yrs.***(6-up boys will be added if at least 3
enter by the deadline, August 15th.)
In the spirit of pageantry,
please do not ask who or how many are in your age division.
All the MOONBEAM PAGEANTS have a
45 day grace period.
1 GRAND OVERALL WINNER RECEIVES A
$3000.00 BOND
A sparkling 25th
anniversary crown, custom banner, and a beautiful engraved plaque.
If less than 40 contestants
enter, the Overall bonds may be reduced to half.
2 MINI-OVERALLS RECEIVE A $500.00 BOND
0-4 & 5-up
A sparkling 25th

You must enter $250.00 overall
package to be eligible for overalls.
2 NOVICE SUPREME WINNERS 0-4 & 5-up
The contestants with the highest
score after the GRAND and MINIS are placed.
They must not have won over
$500.00 cash in the past year. Check on the entry line if you are
eligible. Winners will receive the same awards as beauty.
The one contestant with the
highest facial beauty score after the Grand, Minis, and Novice is pulled,
will receive a beautiful custom National Crown and a $200.00 Bond.
The
National Pageant is having a ticket sales contest. You may sell sponsor
tickets for $2.00 each to get part or all of your entry fees paid. There will be a drawing from the tickets sold and some lucky person will
win a crisp $50.00 bill, and they have helped you enter the pageant and
perhaps you will win SUPERSTAR.

Tickets ($150.00) will pay your registration fee for beauty.
200
Tickets ($400.00) will get you in events for Grand, Mini, and Novice.
250
Tickets ($500.00) will get you in events for Grand, Mini, Novice, and Model
events.
300
Tickets ($600.00) will get you in all events, a beautiful 2009 “SUPERSTAR”
Custom National Crown, a beautiful “SUPERSTAR” banner, engraved “SUPERSTAR”
plaque and a “SUPER” gift. Anyone can win this award. You may choose to
get sponsors to accumulate the cash equivalent to the tickets. You must
mail at least ½ of the money by the dea dline so the awards can be ordered.
These are BIG Custom Crowns and have to be ordered by August 1st,
so PLEASE! let me know if you are selling tickets.
Winner
receives a beautiful gleaming rhinestone National 25th
Anniversary Custom Crown, a lovely decorated banner, a beautiful
engraved keepsake plaque, a $200.00 savings bond and a VERY NICE gift. 4
runners up will receive a Beautiful 25th Anniversary Custom Crown
and a very nice gift. Babies receive very nice Fisher Price toys.
Gifts include Collector Barbies, Porcelain Dolls, and name
toys.
PHOTOGENIC CONTEST
Winner and 2 runners up in each age receives a very nice gift.
Bring any size photo, color or black and white. You may enter extra photos for
$10.00
CASUALWEAR CONTEST (Model of the Year points)
Winner and 2 runners up in each age division receive nice
trophies.
Casual outfit of your choice. It can be custom or off the rack. (do not pro-am )
OPTIONAL COMPOSITE CONTEST This is free so send composite on time.
All contestants entering must send in composite by August 15th. The winner will
receive a custom “2008 Composite Model” banner, and a gorgeous national crown.
TALENT CONTEST
Winner and 2 runners up
receive a talent trophy and the Overall Winner will win A $200.00 bond,
beautiful logo crown and monogrammed banner. Keep it around 2 minutes, be
original may use props, ages 3-6 yrs. 7-12 yrs. 13-up.
OVERALL MOST BEAUTIFUL
This is optional and not required for Grand and Minis. There will be
1 winner. This will be the contestant with the highest facial beauty score after
the
Grand and Minis are pulled. Winner receives a beautiful National crown, banner,
and a $200.00 bond.
